We have close links with specialist consultant ophthalmologists locally and further afield, and can arrange a referral to see them privately on request. The type of conditions commonly referred into private clinics include:

• Conditions that are classed as "routine" in NHS clinics, meaning they are often lower priorty such as cataracts, posterior capsular opacification (secondary cataract), epiretinal membrane and corneal dystrophies
• Glaucoma
• Cosmetic eyelid issues including lumps, bumps and eyelid drooping
• More specialist services not usually provided by NHS clinics such as cataract surgery with multifocal (varifocal) lens implants, corneal collagen cross-linking for keratoconus and refractive surgery
• Patients that would like a second opinion
